Stirna's Restaurant – Warm Hospitality and Delicious Meals in Scranton, PA

Great spot, bar area with tables, adjacent room has tables, great for corporate parties, baby showers, they type of thing. Street parking and adjacent lot. Great staff.

We having Mother’s Day dinner at Stirnas restaurant. We meet the owner and she told us the history of this place. Stuff was friendly and food was delicious. Definitely going back there when I’m in Scranton area. Thank You !!!

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with everything. After hearing they make the absolute best whiskey sours, we all tried them and they did not disappoint. Best I've ever tasted. Smooth and delicious . All our meals were prepared to perfection and delicious. Prices are reasonable and as a delicious treat, you get homemade brownies for dessert as part of your meal. Cannot wait to go back again.

Ordered takeout of open face roast beef entrees from their online menu. When I went to pick it up, I was told a price that was very different from what I had seen. I was then informed after I already picked up the order that they no longer serve the open face roast beef and was given the price of the regular roast beef entree instead. Food was cold and wrong when I got it home. The staff were very kind in correcting this issue and though i am not sure I’d go back on my own again, I think the staff makes this place and would come back if invited.

I went for dinner the night of my graduation in May near closing time with a party of 7, and yet we were all still welcomed in and received amazing service. The staff, and the owner especially, were so lovely and so kind, and they definitely made this experience so memorable that I remembered to come back to write this review 3 months later! The soups, pasta, and brownies were definitely my favorites. I would surely go back if I’m ever in Scranton again.

The food was good and the service was amazing! It has more of a banquet style feel with large room with open seating and a limited menu especially for desserts. The staff was truly amazing everyone was so nice and several people waited on us we never had a want for anything. Our 3 year old can be difficult and staff was so warm and welcome to him. I had the tuna which was a bit dry for me. Matthew had the best meal their Alfredo sauce is spot on!

Excellent experience overall. Husband had Chicken Parmigiano. I had 12 oz NY Strip with herb garlic butter, cup of crab bisque, carrots and mashed potatoes with gravy. My steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The crab bisque was the creamiest I've ever had and there was no shortage of crab in it. Definitely will be back.
